Request complete deletion of your Scread account and data

We respect your right to privacy and data ownership. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.

⚠️ Important

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers, including:

Your account profile and settings
All uploaded books and documents
Reading progress and statistics
Highlights, notes, and annotations
AI chat history and saved conversations
Reading streaks and achievements

How to Delete Your Data

Email Request

To request deletion via email, send us a request from the email address associated with your account:

We will process your request within 30 days and send confirmation when complete.

What Happens After Deletion

Your data is permanently removed from our active databases
Any data in backups will be purged within 90 days
You will no longer be able to access your account
You can create a new account with the same email if desired

Data We May Retain

In some cases, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

Transaction records (if applicable) for legal compliance
Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you
Information necessary to prevent fraud or abuse
